A retired 911 Dispatcher, Danie built Pawsitive Care on trust, calm professionalism and genuine love for animals. She's fully background-checked, certified in Pet First Aid & CPR, and insured — bringing the same steady, attentive care from her years in emergency dispatch to every visit.
Christine has 5+ years of professional pet-care experience across Haywood & Jackson Counties, plus 20+ years of personal pet knowledge. Background-checked and Pet First Aid certified, she currently works in Social Services and calls pet care her “4-paw therapy” — a joyful chance to give animals the love they deserve.

For cats & dogs · day rate runs 8am to 8am · includes all pets in the home.
Add-ons: +$10 per extra dog/day for 2+ dogs with no securely fenced yard or perimeter collar (leashed walks needed). +$15/day if pets can't be home alone in a 4–5 hour window.
Feeding, litter scooping, letting dogs out and/or leashed walks. Never rushed — routine visits run ~60 min (90 min for multiple dogs).

Dogs (alone or with cats)
Multiple dogs: +$10 per extra dog that needs a leashed walk. Safely gated dogs or perimeter collars that don't need walks stay at the flat base rate.

A few details up front so booking is easy and stress-free.
One-off / random visits: payment is due at the time of service upon our arrival — Cash or Venmo preferred (no checks). If you're leaving before we arrive, please leave payment and let us know it's been left.
Multi-day bookings: a 25% deposit holds your dates, with the balance due at the start of the booking when we arrive.
All major holiday weeks or weekends are subject to a $10-per-day holiday fee and are marked on the calendar.
Snow and ice can't always be predicted. If we're snowed in and unable to leave safely, a $15-per-day fee applies.
Life happens! If your return is delayed, we're happy to stay longer with your pets until you arrive safely. Your pet's well-being always comes first.
We understand plans change. To help us keep providing reliable care, we kindly ask for as much notice as possible.
